The right resources can help you homeschool with confidence.

If you've ever stepped foot into a homeschool convention, you'll appreciate this:

The good news is that there are so many different resources for homeschoolers these days that you could spend your whole life looking through them an never come to an end.

The bad news is... well, the same as the good news.

Add, into this mixed blessing, trying to decide which curriculum will work for your kids with dyslexia, you can easily turn into the Tasmanian Devil right in the middle of the expo hall.

Been there, done that.

So let me start by sharing the best advice my mom gave me when I first started homeschooling. "There are lots and lots of programs that will work well for your kids. And there will ALWAYS be a program that works better. So don't go crazy worrying about finding the world's best curriculum. Go with what works, and make changes only when you need to."

Smart woman, my mom.

So what I'm saying is this. On this page I'll collect curricula, programs, and products that I've tried and found awesome. Some of them I've written myself. I make no claim that they are the only ones that work. I only promise that I use them and recommend them highly.

Dyslexic-Friendly Curricula For Students

The programs, resources, and curricula in this section are not all all specifically designed for dyslexic students. They are ALL, however, programs that dyslexics should thrive on because they are explicit, incremental, and interest-first. That's great news for another reason-- your other kids will probably thrive on them too!

And, once again, I've tried and loved all of these with my kids!
